Anne Bradstreet

"To My Dear and Loving Husband" "The Prolouge" "The Author to Her Book" http://www.vcu.edu/engweb/webtexts/Bradstreet/bradhyp.htm

Anne Bradstreet talks about many things in her poems. Every poem is different. The first poem I read was about how love is greater than anything to her, and how her love does not compare to the love that other women may have. "The Prolouge" tells me that she does not like that people judge others by where they come from or what they look like.

Anne Bradstreet's poems show me how much she cared for everyone around her, even if she didn't know who they are. This tells me that her mind is morally opened to the world and how some things do need to change in order to have a morally correct nation.
